Inspirational Fall Themes We Love for Events

September 9, 2022 by No Comments

The second most important consumer spending season is Fall (after Winter and the holidays).

Amateur is the ideal time to kickstart charity fundraising, hold ticketed or private events, and benefit from the many fall theme events. At the same time, it’s still warm enough for outdoor activities.

What can you do at a Fall Party?

Your fall party should have delicious food, drinks, and activities that match the theme. You can incorporate these ideas into your fall party regardless of the theme.

  • Apple picking
  • Pumpkin carving
  • Contests for Halloween costumes or sweaters
  • Football games (in person or on TV)
  • Leaf raking (a great fundraiser or volunteer activity)

Are there any fall event names you would like to suggest?

To come up with great fall themes, you have to make a pun or reference something seasonally appropriate and use your theme for the name.

These names often draw a few smiles from people and stick out in their minds.

  • Somewhat Corny
  • The Great Pumpkin
  • Leaf Busters, who are you going to call?

Which event types will I see on this list?

The beginning of the holiday season and back-to-school time is a popular choice for Millennial wedding dates. Also, it’s the last chance to enjoy the outdoors before next year. These are just a few of the 25 fall theme events we will be covering:

  • Halloween party themes
  • Ideas for adult harvest parties
  • Outdoor party ideas for adults
  • Corporate events for Fall

September Party Themes

Quidditch Tournament

Harry Potter fans rejoice! Even though we don’t have flying brooms or golden snitches, you can still create your version of the magical sport. USQ is the official league. However, each team has its location and teams. You can also try this fun activity.

Glitter & Gold

Sparkly glitter isnaEUR (TM)t only for winter celebrations. Gold is the perfect complement to fall colors. Paint pumpkins with gold glitter glue and lush drape fabrics on walls and fences to complete the look.

Foliage Frolic

It’s time to celebrate the changing leaves. There are many options. You can host a spectacular leaf jumping party, or you could opt to have a low-key raking party with a guided tour of the natural world.

Wine & Dine

Wine experts believe Fall is the best time to drink full-bodied whites and light- to medium-bodied reds. This can be paired with a chef-prepared meal or a wine-tasting evening with lots of cheese boards and hors-oeuvres. A wine expert can be brought in to help the group learn more about what they are drinking.

Farm Tour

Harvest season is also in Fall, which means that farms are at their best this time of the year. Many places offer educational tours that show the growing process, machinery and care of livestock.

Corn Maze Extravaganza

Depending on where you live, you can make Halloween more frightening or less scary. You don’t have to live near any public corn mazes. Instead, you can make your own with cardboard, trash bags, and sheets. Take-home treats can include cornbread, cornbread and Halloween candy corn.
