In its second year, Climb ‘n’ Dine at Shangri-La hotel, Sydney – the only tower race of its kind in the city – will challenge Sydney-siders to race up its 37 flights and 630 stairs for charity, on 29 October, 2017

With a cap of 200 competitors, this exclusive and unique race is a “must do” for runners, tower-climbers and walkers who thrive on physical challenge, and the reward of raising funds for the wonderful GO Foundation.

The fastest runners are expected to make it to the top in just under four minutes. Once on level 36, fitness enthusiasts of all ages will enjoy a scrumptious breakfast at Altitude, the hotel’s signature restaurant, with spectacular views of the city and harbour beyond.

Be mesmerised on New Year’s Eve as the sky erupts with one of the world’s most impressive fireworks display. Sip on a glass of vintage Champagne and indulge in our decadent seven course menu including Canadian scallops with beluga caviar, fois gras brulee and Flinders Island lamb loin to name but a few.

New Year’s Eve celebrations will take place from 7pm until midnight on the 31st December.

For the first time, Altitude is opening its doors so you can enjoy a luscious mid-morning feast, with spectacular views of the harbour. Waffles, egg dishes, pancakes, seafood, salads and desserts are but a few of the delights on offer. Did we mention free flowing Bellini and Mimosas? 

Brunch at Altitude begins on the 11 February and available every Saturday. Priced at $75 per person including free flowing Mimosa or Bellinis. Free flow of Chandon NV sparkling wine is served at additional $55 per person while free flow of Veuve Cliquot NV is served at additional $85 per person.

Please note we do require credit card details to secure your upcoming brunch reservation. Reservations cannot be held without these details.

Nothing will be debited from your card, however we do require a minimum of 48 hours notice for any cancellations, transfer of booking date or reduction in numbers. Enjoy a stunning view of the Sydney Harbour and Opera House while you dine on a two course menu designed by Chef Ricardo Diaz Ferreira. You will have the choice between a glass of wine or Australian Sparkling wine to accompany your meal. The menu is designed to prove diners with a meal which celebrates the highest quality local and Australian ingredients yet still allow for time needed to reach the Opera House in time for your show.

Priced at $65 per person and available from 5.30 p.m - 6.30 p.m Monday - Thursday.

Market to Table (Cooking Class)

Market to Table (Cooking Class) allows you to experience a tour with chefs to the Fish Markets to meet our suppliers and learn about freshly available local ingredients. Guests then return to the hotel and watch hands on cooking demonstrations by our selected chefs. A glass of sparkling wine on arrival is included followed by a three course lunch prepared by Altitude team with wines. All participants received a set of printed recipe cards.

This class can be run with a minimum number of 6 people and maximum of 12 people.

Menu changes with seasonally best available ingredients.

Market to Table in Altitude is available from the 6 February. Priced at $195 per person. You will meet staff at 10.00 a.m at the Lobby Lounge and conclude at 3.00 p.m.

The Epicurious Menu is available for $175 per person and $235 per person with matching wines. Available from Mondays to Saturdays.
